Title I – Information
Title One is a federal assistance program for our nation’s schools. Its goal is to help all children receive a high quality education. Title I provides extra support to students that are not meeting the state academic standards. A school’s Title I funds are used to offer supplemental instructional programs to ensure eligible students progress in all academic areas.
Literacy Curriculum
- Aspen Ridge Elementary has adopted an evidence based reading curriculum called MyView Literacy as its core reading curriculum. We also use UFLI (University of Florida Literacy Institute), a research based program that specifically teaches the foundational skills necessary to become proficient readers.
